One of the top world wide selling iPhone App's; Angry Birds have had trouble with bringing the game over to Android. The problem - 'more difficult than predicted due to fragmentation with the open platform.'

But judging by the feedback we have received, we feel that by providing a lightweight solution, we are doing a favor for our fans. We are currently developing a lighter solution to run Angry Birds on lower-end Android devices."

The new application for Apple's devices was released on the 26th of October. It is the first of the big food chains in Britain to approach the technique, Waitrose similarly has personal Bar code scanners in its stores enabling customers to tally up their total as they shop, however Tesco is the first to venture out, using the Bar code technique in the 'Home delivery' sector.
The Barcode is an add-on to the orginal Groceries App, it is now possible to simply scan the item you have run out of and instantly add it to a home delivery order. Meaning you don't have to search for the product you wish to order on the App.
The App is targeted at 'busy parents' and 'time poor-professionals' that want to add a specific grocery item with ease and speed. Laura Wade-Gery, Chief exuative of Tesco Direct and Tesco.com told The Guardian:
"We're always looking for ways to make life easier for customers and for busy mums in particular. The barcode scanner will make online ordering much quicker for those that have an iPhone. Customers can simply scan the barcode of grocery products stocked by Tesco whilst on the go and add them into their online shopping basket.

Shrek Kart HD was one of the first games I ever installed on my iPad. Obviously aimed at the children's market, Shrek Kart HD includes all the main characters from the well known movie series, "Shrek". It includes Shrek himself, Donkey, Puss In Boots, Gingy, Pinocchio, Ogre Triplets, Fiona, Big Bad Wolf, the 3 Little Pigs and of course, Lord Farquaad (The Ghost Of!). The game offers 3 different difficulties, perfect for the smallest of children. There are 4 game modes in total - Single Race, which speaks for itself.
