Cut The Rope / Cut The Rope HD has instantly hit the top spot on the app store, and it's not hard to find out why! The main aim of the game, and I say the main game because there are many more aspects, is to cut ropes that are suspending candy inside a cardboard box with an aim to get it in the green monsters' mouth. Other aspects of the game include bubbles, blowing machines and spikes - along with extendable and retractable ropes.

Whilst the above paragraph is a mouthful, it sums up the game pretty nicely in my opinion! The graphics in the game are awesome, and quite detailed. For example, the green monster animates nicely when you get close to it with the candy (or 'sweet' for us English readers!). The physics of the game is incredibly realistic, and if you have even the slight amount of spacial awareness, you'll be able to pick up the game with ease. Other, less spacially aware people may not get the hang of it straight away!

At the time this was written, there were 4 sets of levels, each named by a different box. There are just 25 levels in each, so the game can be completed fully within a matter of a couple of hours, including getting the max score of 3 stars. However, they promise to bring more levels soon, so fingers crossed for that!

All in all, if you liked "Angry Birds", this game will be a great hit for you, and if you didn't, why not still give it a shot! - There's a light version you know?
