Real Racing was and is one of the greatest racing game for the Iphone and Ipod touch. When the Ipad was launched the developer's (Firemint) decided to re-release there star racing game in powerful HD form. Real Racing HD, is truly a huge success to its orginal version, lets find out what it had to beat:

You may now be thinking how can Firemint top this? The new, more advance Real Racing HD has all the features from its original plus:

- HD Graphics (High resolution features, enhanced textures and details)

- Ghost Racing (aim to beat yourself or your friends best lap time)

-Car skins ( Add your own personal pictures and design a car that suits your personality)

Real Racing HD, has four different game modes. Quick race is a simple 3 lap race against competitive (computer) drivers. Time Trial mode allows you to test your racing skills, and find the best racing line, in this mode you can compete against your previous lap time in Ghost mode, this mode is not as intense as Quick race mode. Career mode enables you to unlock race tracks, cars, and car skins. It is generally the most serious modes, and I felt at times I got too into the racing game (cracking my ipad's screen!). The Final and by far the most fun mode, 'connected' where you can connect via wireless and race against your friends, compare cars, and race on each other's circuits.

Real Racing HD is truly a worthwhile game, you will play on it time after time. However this high standard is reflected in the price: £5.99, but not near enough to put you off purchasing this world class racing game.
