This is the first handheld playable version of the GTA series. It is a universal app, meaning that is available on the iPod touch, iPhone and iPad. First question anyone would ask, what do you do in it?

Well, you can do a lot. You can go along with the main storyline, as well as side missions and odd jobs; you can go around town finding dealers, and hijack any car of your choice, which include Chevrons, Police Cars, and fire trucks.
In my opinion, the storyline is probably one of the biggest storylines in gaming history on the App Store. I think it is intense and occasionally challenging, as it requires you to move your fingers around a lot!
It always leaves you thinking, ‘what'll happen next?’ ‘Will this work?’ ‘How should I go about doing this mission?’, which is a good thing, providing you like challenging and intense games.
The fact that the map you are able to roam in is so large - larger than any map I’ve played on any game on my iPod - is just simply a wonderful feeling! Whenever cops are chasing me (in the game!) I feel like I can drive my car just about anywhere, and due to its sheer size you can find a hiding spot easily.
You can also carry a variety of weapons - more than two which is the maximum capacity for most shooting games, and these weapons include the smallest pistol, to a powerful rocket launcher, a baseball bat and a police baton. I think this feature to the game adds to how incredible it is. How many times have you played a shooting game, ran out of ammo on your primary and secondary weapon, and your side-arm and said, ‘I wish you could carry more guns!’ Well, complain no more, GTA is here, taking away your darkest fear.
I’ve mentioned the amazing storyline and the amazing feature allowing you to carry more than just an assault rifle and a pistol, but I have not mentioned the humor. Although some is crude, the rest of the humor actually makes you laugh, or at the very least it makes you snigger. I admire the characters, they’re amusing and witty - not to mention, they have a lot of bad luck throughout the game, which makes it even funnier.
Personally, I love the game, because there is always so much to do, and it takes a long time to actually complete 100%, just because there is always things to do, always people to meet and just always time to have fun, free roaming, destroying stuff and what-not.
I personally highly recommend this game! Get an iTunes voucher, and put this app as the first thing on your wish list!
