Microsoft has recently updated its Twitter page with this:

California here we come! The @MicrosoftStore opens its newest location this spring at the @SouthCoastPlaza in Costa Mesa, CA.

This will be Microsoft's fourth retail store to be opened, rivaling Apple's long established retail stores. Is this Microsofts attempt to break into a more user-friendly marketing base? We think so. Here are some similarities between Microsoft's and Apple's retail stores:

Apple has a "Genius Bar". Microsoft have a "Answer Bar". Apple have large wooden tables to display their products. Microsoft have large wooden tables to display their products. Apple Retail employees wear blue shirts. You guessed it - so do Microsofts'.

Watch Microsoft Retail Staff attempt to dance to Black Eyed Peas here. (We're not joking!)
